| Biography |
Travis Ketler began his DJ career in 1998 at a crazy, sweaty party called "Hooked On Phonics" in Kelowna under the alias Epic.
He was inspired by artists such as Underworld, Orbital, Sasha, Leftfield, german techno and trance, as well as many local friends who were DJs and/or electronic music lovers.
He played dance music that he was passionate about, including funky and progressive house, speed garage, breakbeats, and trance, becoming quickly addicted to electrifying dancefloors and inspiring audiences night after night. A vinyl junkie at heart, Epic became known for his obsessive thirst for distinct and galvanizing sounds.
He`s played countless shows across BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Some of them include:
Summer Love, Peachee Keen, Apex Project, former 96.1 FM Vancouver show "The G-Spot", as well as many clubs and parties. He`s had the opportunity to play alongside many talented DJs including Carl Cox, DJ John Kelley, and favourite Deko-ze.
He currently resides in Vancouver, BC where he is also pursuing his lifelong passion of acting.
