I have scrubbed the site of all remnants of the old buggy Calendar feature, and reinstalled a better one! The top navigation bar has changed to include the link to the Calendar.. as well, you will notice a small red down arrow with Calendar next to it. This link opens the short version at the top of whatever page you are viewing; the Forum, Homepage, PMs.. any of them. It only shows the current week's upcoming events, but if you click on the top link, or the small Calendar icon at the top of the short week, the full month will show up, and you can search upcoming events. Past events have also been added, for nostalgic reasons I guess. But almost everything should be on there.
Promoters: When adding your new event, please add the event to the Calendar as well. The dropdown options appear below the posting window, below the "Add an Attachment" option and before "Add a Poll"
For the past six years, Liquidbeat.com has been providing the Okanagan and BC Interior with a free online music community in order to share upcoming event information, mixes and demos, and to connect with other like minded individuals in the area.
During our initial startup and through the time when we were producing events, LB maintained a growing user base through its connections to attendees, other promoters, DJs, and groups as well as the advertisement of its own promoted events. As of late, the LB crew have not been producing shows, and we need your help to keep this site active and connected.
We ask promoters that use our resource to advertise their event, to advertise our site in return. This can be done with the placement of our logo, by adding a text line referring to Liquidbeat.com, or now, Promoters who do so can request a subdomain creation to link directly to their event posting. (eg: yourevent.liquidbeat.com) by PMing Chris....
